Carbon.Bio is a Greenhouse automation project. Designed to Reduce Water Usage by up to 95%, Regulate the growing environment and do-so with reduced energy consumption.
The overall goal is to make a program that can can help worldwide as food and water supplies in many regions are being threatened by unseasonably hot temperatures and over-use of public water supplies.
Growing in Closed Aeroponic Environments allows plants to grow faster, with larger, more nutritious yields while conserving water. How is this possible? The water is recycled in the system after each spray cycle and the roots are enclosed in an environment that prevents evaporation.
Carbon.Bio is written in Python and C, will boast highly customizable code and eventually integrate machine learning into the process of maintaining the conditions inside the greenhouse for optimum growth performance.
